The redevelopment at Dolomite Point in Punakaiki on the South Island’s West Coast has delivered a new Visitor Experience Centre and Exhibition Space to replace the existing facility. Located at one of New Zealand’s most iconic natural attractions, the site is famous for its unique limestone “pancake rock” formations and dramatic coastal blowholes.
Timber elements throughout the project were protected with CUTEK® wood oil, helping the structure withstand the harsh coastal environment while maintaining the natural character of the wood.
