That depends on the finish you choose.

CUTEK® Extreme Clear enhances the natural grain and character of wood while allowing it to naturally silver over time. Add a CUTEK® Colortone if you want to maintain or change the color and add UV protection.

Because wood species, grain, texture and natural color all influence the final appearance, we recommend testing your chosen finish on the actual wood before specification.

CUTEK® Extreme doesn't form a surface film that needs to be sanded or stripped during normal maintenance. Simply clean the wood and recoat as needed.

Because maintenance is simple, future owners are more likely to keep up with the recommended maintenance regime - helping the wood continue to perform and your original design remain beautiful for the long term.
